An orange juicer project
As part of my industrial desgin class, I was asked to desgin and build an orange juicer.
My idea was to transfer the pressure from the wrist to the shoulder. Instead of rotating the orange on its axis, the user turns a crank, drill the orange and thus, more pressure goes to the arm and shoulder.
At the front of the juicer, there is a removable strainer. A cup located in an area under a funnel.
I designed the parts using Solidworks. I printed them using a 3d printer, assembled all parts and did paint finishes.
